The Summer Smarts course in Mathematics for students in grade 6-8 will provide an individualized study plan in the subject based on students’ current level of knowledge and skills. Based on initial tests at the beginning of the course students will be prescribed lessons that will provide foundational, maintenance or acceleration in mathematic concepts including understanding numbers, order of operations, and geometry concepts. All lessons are aligned to the Common Core standards for Mathematics in grades 6-8. Math practice will be done through interactive lessons that make studying fun!
A teacher will monitor each student’s progress through the course and provide LiveLessons as well as daily tutoring hours to provide one-on-one assistance. When a student is ready for acceleration the teacher will move them into levels of higher skill based lessons.
